Focusing Meet-up

Sunday, April 6, 1 pm to 3 pm

The Focusing meet up is a guided instruction followed by practice dyads, based on the book "Focusing" by Eugene Gendlin. We will meet on the first Sunday of every month for the next several months.

Focusing is a body-oriented process for self-awareness and emotional healing, useful for decision-making, clarifying life issues, moving past blocks, enhancing creativity, deepening spirituality, and knowing oneself more deeply in each moment. Focusing can be practiced by oneself or with a partner, who holds the space and offers reflective listening if desired by the focuser. By contacting the wisdom of the body through the felt sense, the focuser can experience shifts in perspective or understanding, coming from the body itself. Newcomers and experienced focusers are welcome!

SoundHeals Holistic Health

The healing vibrations of Crystal Singing Bowls

Now Monthly, Fourth Saturday of each month

April 26, 1-2:30 PM

Christina Hildebrandt of SoundHeals Holistic Health presents the healing tones of crystal singing bowls in the beautiful Meditation Place!

The vibrations produced by the bowls create an opportunity for relaxation and subtle shifts in our psyches and bodies; participants may sit, lie or stand to receive this sonic bath! There are chairs and meditation cushions at The Meditation Place; feel free to bring your own blanket or mat to ensure your comfort on the wood floor.

Many people experience a peaceful expansive feeling, which may last into the following days. If you are feeling stressed, please come and relax! Please send this to a friend who could use some relaxation: it's my desire to help relieve stress and pain, so our spirits can soar! This is a free event, although donations are appreciated.

Dances of Universal Peace

Meets at The Meditation Place

Next meeting Sunday, April 20 — 4 to 6 PM

Next Dance is the third Sunday of each month

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous, multi-cultural circle dances that use sacred phrases, chants, music and movements from the many spiritual traditions of the earth to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and recognize it in others. The Dances promote peace and integration within individuals and understanding and connection within groups worldwide. There are no performers nor audience: new arrivals and old hands form the circle as everyone sings and dances together. Jen Friedman and Britt Ripley lead a warm and welcoming Dance circle that invites us into a rich contemplative experience while also creating space for us not to take ourselves too seriously; encouraging open and heartfelt connection to arise naturally within the group. To learn more, please contact Jen at 303-746-5191 or jennifer@jenniferfriedman.com
